Our adaptation of E B White’s Charlotte’s Web – Go for the Oscar

We were lucky to win approval and permission from E.B. White himself for our adaptation of “Charlotte’s Web”. Always a popular choice, this musical has been even more widely performed since the advent of the award-winning film. It has an excellent script for small or large casts. We’ve seen whole (small) school productions, class presentations and the smallest production took place in St Ives with a cast of 8! With 10 funky songs suitable for 6-10 year olds, children, parents… even OFSTED love this production!

Synopsis

From barnyard to County Fair carnival, Charlotte, a brave and enterprising spider, weaves messages in her web to save the life of Wilbur the pig, who repays her by saving the lives of her 514 babies! She is aided by Templeton, a jazz loving dirty rat, line dancing goslings and their garrulous mother and a whole host of barnyard animals.
