Terms and Conditions

 

  1. 'Block' licences (such as PRS or CCL), which may be held by your school/ group/LEA, do not cover performances of our musicals, licences for which are only available from the publishers. The revenue (royalties) raised from Performing Licences is the main source of income for writers. If intellectual copyright, which is protected by law, is not respected and royalties not paid, then there is no incentive for writers to produce new materials. Performing Firesticks and Song musicals without our permission is illegal.
  2. Licences are included in the cost of some production packs. This covers performances for up to 150 people in a school venue, and is valid for 6 months following the date of issue. Larger performances in commercial venues are not covered by the free licence. Please contact the publisher for a quote.
  3. If a licence is not included in your production pack, then this must be obtained from the publisher before despatch of the musical. We would expect to receive around 12% of nominal ticket revenue whether or not a charge is made. Download a Performance Licence Application form here.
  4.  Further licences may be required for additional performances whether or not you charge for admission. The cost will be scaled to the size of your production and audience.
  5. A licence is required for filming your performance. Download a Video Licence Application form here.
  6. Lyric sheets may be copied.
  7. It is illegal to copy the CD unless we have expressly given you permission to do so. 
  8. For copyright reasons, our musicals are not sold on a sale or return basis. The publisher will provide further information by email to supplement the website information. All the songs are available to hear online.
  9. We are happy to accept orders from schools by phone, fax, email, official Order form or by using our website order form. If you are ordering from outside the UK, you will find our online payment option (with PayPal) the easiest. You can confirm your method of payment at the end of the ordering process.
